Game Theater XP - Retail or Brown Box (OEM)?

I want to get the GTXP, but I need to know the software difference between the retail and OEM versions available. I really don't care anything for game demos, mp3 programs, or other fluff software. I am interested, however, if the OEM version comes with the yamaha soft synthesizer and the virtual ear software. Can anyone fill me in on this matter?

oem will be fine, but watch out for the warranty, the breakout box is not that reliable, two of my friends already broke theirs probably by constantly going to LANs. BUt yeah if you just let it sit their 365 days of a year, i guess it'll be fine

FWIW, I got an OEM GTXP from my brother's friend which was broken, and had no trouble RMA'ing it. They (Hercules/Guillemot) sent me a new shrink-wrapped box the day after receiving mine.

edit: the OEM version does com with the Yamaha and Virtual Ear software, as well as PowerDVD (not sure which version as I never installed it)
