I am looking into purchasing a new pc game and wanted some suggestions. I am searching for an extremely high end game with extreme graphics. I enjoy first person shooters and many other genres. Thanks, for any advice.

Best bet is to try a few demos... the hot thing right now is Unreal Tournament 2004. Quite good. Painkiller looks very nice, but just a shooter... Call of Duty if you're into WW2 action shooting.... Farcry demo was pretty cool, didn't thrill me but seemed to be popular....... try some out. Always demo if you can.......

If you favor multiplayer try:
Unreal Tournament 2004

If you want singleplayer most of all try:
Max Payne 2

Those are new with high end graphics.

But really for full games out now Unreal Tourney 2003 would be fitting of your requirements. FarCry is by far the prettiest game, but it's only in demo form atm.

You guys see that UT'04 will be on 6CDs or a DVD? Wow
