GameCube for 100???

Okay, I REALLY want Gamecube and Supoer Metroid. I'm going crazy cause everyone else is playing it and I'm NOT!

I have 150 to go and get it right now. Does anyone know for sure if the price is gonna drop to 100? Cause if so, I'll bide my time and wait.

Please someone help me curb my anxiety. I want this REAALLY bad.

No... Nobody knows for sure. There's almost ALWAYS some rumor going around about console price drops. I wouldn't put any stock into them, this close to Xmas.

My guess is that the prices of all the consoles are going to stay about where they are for at least several months.

i doubt they'd drop the price anytime soon with the number of consoles being sold for christmas. i wouldn't bet on seeing a price drop until mid/late next year

Yep.. I waited and waited and waited for PS2 to drop and then told my mom to buy one for my son for christmas.. hehe yea right he will get to play.. sometimes.

I joined the faceless masses with a console game.
Why should they lower the price, they sell like crazy and games are still coming out.

I know target has a 90 day return policy. I'm not sure what their pricematching policy is though but if its the same, you have 3 months in case the price goes down

There wont be a price cut before christmas, that would be dumb. I wouldnt expect a legitimate price cut til spring (if that soon), should one of the others decide to cut but Nintendo wont drop it without others doing it first.

EB had a deal for a $50 mail-in rebate off of a $150 GC. You'd have to front the extra $50, but Metroid Prime is only $30 there with the purchase of a GC.

I'm 99% sure console would not drop anytime this year. I hate seeing all these rumors.

I remember seeing people saying the X-Box was dropping to $149.99 by Thanksgiving.

Look the X-Box & GC are selling just fine and I highly doubt they need to offer people anymore encouragement to buy them, especially with the highly anticipated games coming out for them. As for the PS2, it still sells enough and to me it seems that Sony isn't pushing it anymore. Why would they need to, it's already sold a massive amount, years older than the other two system, and is still doing fine.

Get it now!! I just bought a GC specifically to play Metroid Prime and I'm glad I did. It is a great game.

The rumor i heard was a pricedrop sometime in January. Anyway, I'll probably just keep on the lookout for great deal and buy it for myself for christmas and quit being such a wuss. ::grins:: Thanks for input.
