it works OK, I mean if I used textures higher than low it starts having problems, but other than that I increased some stuff from low to medium and it's still hitting the 60FPS.

I think it still looks and plays well.
I would be curious to test the game with a 4870 which is also supported but it's not even a dx11 card.

Thankfully the baking of my second 5850 also succeeded. I baked the card at 230C for 20 minutes this time and while I was expecting it to blow up, it actually works fine now. 950Mhz from stock 725Mhz too, lol!

Here is the benchmark video of the 5850 (spicy wallpaper warning...)

Overwatch 1920X1080 Ultra 5850 @950Mhz Core i7-860 @4GHz - 53 fps

Now the crazy thing is that the game run at 53fps at Ultra preset. It was giving 75 for the high preset.

I am genuinely astonished to tell the truth. It was hitting around 30-35 at epic which was to be expected since it needed 2GBs of video ram on my 970 and 7950. Also sure the 5850 has far less processing power.

Still at Ultra preset the game was quite playable.

I did have a 1'' pause however, which also threw all the graphs of the run in disarray so there is no point posting them and I was somewhat bored to do another run. :S

Crossfire works quite well in this game. Using the Optimize 1x1 preset and I'm getting ~100 fps at highest settings and 1440p rather than ~60 fps.

I wanted to say something about this, but kept forgetting. People said Crossfire doesn't work on Blizz games, but it ran perfectly for me when I had CFX 7970s. I even through on all the bells and whistles for my games.

I remember you had to change something in the Catalyst Control panel which always bugged me that review sites wouldn't do it.

Well I just noticed something interesting about Overwatch.

Not sure how it is for everyone, but I have my settings to Epic with SMAA on Med, but then I noticed, render scale is set to Automatic-150%

So I'm running it at 4K and still getting 59* FPS.

Interesting.

Game runs extremely well for sure.

I'm doing 4K on R290X, mix of Ultra/Med settings. 60 fps.

Just in case you don't know, the game has on PC 3 versions, regular, Origin and Collectors. The regular version is 40$, not 60$.

Ya I'll be getting this game most likely as well it's the first shooter I can just pick up and enjoy in awhile. And I can get extremely close to 200% resolution scale messing with the settings. Can't wait to get a faster gpu for beyond 4k resolution in this game!

Anyone with native 1440p using DSR/VSR to upscale to 4k? I'm running an R9 290, 2560x1440 @110hz is very smooth. Think I may try upscaling out tonight and see what kind of performance I get.

Also, interesting to read some users having beyond 100% resolution scale by default. I'll have to check my settings to see what mine is at.

Use the resolution scale in game imo. No reason to use dsr especially or vsr if it's built into the game.

Looks like its pretty playable on the A10s.

For sub $100 currently the A10-7600 is the best bang for the buck APU. I really like to see its BristolRidge replacement in AM4 with DDR-4.
