AMD needs to improve single GPU performance in DL TF. SF5 seems fine. Surprisingly both Nvidia SLI and AMD CF are working in DL TF. :thumbsup:

If you like Dying Light, the new DLC is super fun. Just started playing it sunday.

SF5 needs 60 FPS constantly otherwise the game slows down, literally. It's like playing on an emulator. Basically, 4K is unplayable without an overclocked 980 Ti; the fact that everything below that is gray actually makes perfect sense.

Digital Foundry has a nice SF5 comparison with PC vs PS4. Basically the graphics quality is identical except the PC build has heavy motion blur (for cinematic feels??).. and the PS4 actually runs it at 60 fps which is really surprising.

Why is it surprising? 2D fighters are not really demanding and you can apply plenty of tricks for better performance. SF4 run with 60fps on the old consoles. Super Smash Bros runs in 1080/60 on the Wii U.

It's surprising because it takes the 960/380 to run at the same PS4 settings 1080p to get 60fps.

This suggests the PC port is really awful OR PS4's GNMX is just that much better.

Wow, PS4 looks much better, much sharper looks like the PC version is completely blurry even without movement.

Not sure if they are doubling up on the encoding or what for the PC footage, but watching it in 1080p60 it looks like garbage compared to the PS4. They keep saying it looks better, but in the video it is night and day difference and the whole screen blurs when they swap to PC. Maybe they encoded the PC version twice, but it looks awful.

I get there should be some motion blur, but the whole thing is blurred background and even after the fight is over there is still blur.

The only thing that looks better on PC is the floor tiles where it removes the aliasing, but the London sign above it and the rest of the background looks much worse.

For such a stylized art style, the "motion" blur completely removes the details.

I mean you can hardly see the detail in Ryo in the first two images - both are which was after he stopped moving. The boy and background details are also blurry.

I'm hoping they either reupload or do some videos with the blur turned off.

I have to give props to Dying Light. Really came around with the CPU optimizations (seems to utilize around 7 threads) and nearly all cards give a good experience, even if Maxwell seems favored a bit. Nice multi-GPU support too. Around 80%+ scaling for both camps.

Seems unoptimized for SF5 if it takes a 980 or 960 to get 60 FPS. The graphics don't exactly look like they're wowing.

if you use medium settings I think a lot of slow/old cards can run at 60FPS, at least testing with the 5850 that's what I got.

Finally it seems that dying light supports CF without a lot of flickering.

Dying light is one of those games that grow on you, after you get past the terrible console UI, non scaling HUD, its pretty fun gameplay.

Atm nvidia and or the game developer needs to work out some windows 10 issues then we can revisit this.

[SLI, Street Fighter V] Game crashes when launched with SLI and Stereo enabled.

Street Fighter V gameplay appears to be in slow motion and FPS is capped at 30 when
game is played with high resolution and high settings.

[SLI, Street Fighter V] Performance drop (pause and play) observed when the game is played at 4K resolution with SLI enabled.

I'm reinstalling it just to play The Following DLC. I had a blast with Dying Light, from what I've read I'll probably enjoy The Following as well!

Yeah the blurr filter used in SFV PC is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to aggressive. Just disable it and enjoy crisp graphics akin to the PS4, and you can actually hit 60 FPS @ 4K without issue either.

Loving some of the changes, still learning how to better use some of the newer counters and V-Trigger.

Def mixed bag opinion, but I think once the bugs are ironed out it should dwarf SFV in popularity.

Fighting games will draw all the frames because it needs that accuracy -- according to my fighting game fan friends and Eurogamer. It's just that this game is more demanding than the previous entries and other fighters out so you either drop down to lower settings or watch your FPS slow to a crawl.
