You're way off, GamerGate has nothing to do with hating women. GamerGate is the gaming community's pushback against rampant corruption and demands of censorship in the industry. We're tired of a vocal minority of political extremists trying to gatekeep what types of games should be allowed to exist.
Unless GamerGate caused major implications for the average American in their daily lives, literally nothing has changed here.
And last I checked, it was a bunch of random individuals that took down those websites; not the entire federal government infringing on your "free speech".
