Just thought Id add some oldschool strategy in there. Thats what we enjoyed back when I had lan parties.

What is the learning curve like on Dungeon Keeper 2? I hadn't heard of it before but the ign review was very favorable, and it certainly sounds decent.

I would say if you have played any of the strategy games I mentioned you should be able to pick up the gist of dungeon keeper 2 fairly easy. I will give you a tip though. When building the rooms keep them squared if possible and make them a fairly decent size for optimal attraction. If you play the game you'll understand what I just said and itll make more since. My suggestion is usually 3 by 3 as a minimum with 8 by 8 being the largest ( depending on the size of the map. )

The thing that attracted me to the series was that in DK you play the evil guy trying to pound on the good guys which was differant and it was fun at lan parties. Give it a try and see if you like it.

yeah thats him. I really wish he wouldn't have left bullfrog so he could make another dungeon keeper. :-( Hes a great game creater though. Good imagination.

Downloaded, looks like it might be fun to lan with a bit.

I couldn't get dungeon keeper 2 to work in vista 64, it would go to black screen and then just go back to windows and nothing would happen. I don't think it was meant to be.

Lan is tomorrow guys, I still am not sure we got enough games to last us for a full weekend gaming bonanza. Lets hear some clutch lan game ideas, and 5 player would be the cherry on top.

Lan starts in 10 hours, comon guys, throw me a golden bone here. Somebody come up with a game that we can play all night and want more, give me something I wouldnt of thought of, or haven't played, or haven't played in far too long.
