Unreal Tournament (UT99). Yes, it had sequels, but they were in-name only. I'm talking about getting a real bona-fide UT99-2 and not consolized half-finished garbage like UT3.

The same can be said for Quake III.

3. A Call of Duty sequel true to its PC roots, not the consolized stuff they are putting out now.

4. Am hoping that Dungeon Seige 3 and Diablo 3 are worthy sequels.

5. Borderlands (hear they may be working on one).

6. A RTS game of similar quality to Rise of Nations or the original Age of Empires series.

No. That's like making a sequel to the game of chess or hockey. It's fine the way it is.

Maybe in a few years, when CS:S starts looking extremely dated, they can update it to the latest version of the source engine, and release new versions of all the maps that have more graphic detail, but have the same layout. Make it a free update to CS:S though, and leave the old maps in there.

I'll say Unreal. Unreal II was a semi-decent game in itself, but a legit sequel to Unreal it was not.

There was Return to Na Pali, but I guess that was more an expansion pack than a sequel.
