Um... I think I beat Bioshock Infinite and Dust: An Elysian Tale, and that's about it. :$

Please don't ask me how many games I bought.

Only Batman: Arkham City.

Then again, most of my time gaming is spent in MP games like LoL and Planetside 2 or games like Crusader Kings 2 which, while can be "beaten", is not really the goal.

I bought Skyrim LE at Thanksgiving and I'm pretty determined to beat that since I'm enjoying it.

I finished Tomb Raider about two days ago, it was a superb game overall, although I have to say that it was too easy due to Easy Mode (A.K.A Survival Instinct Mode). Don't know where to go or what to do next? Look for the glowing stuff, problem fixed.

I honestly had a bit of a problem suspending my disbelief trying to convince myself that the glowing stuff really was what Lara "herself" was seeing. On the contrary, I perceived that feature as a way for the developers to basically discard the player's own potential "to look around" just as Lara really would have. But it's us ultimately, the player, whose looking at the screen, not Lara (that's the part I couldn't immerse myself into). There's too much glowing stuff that drastically reduces the necessity to think.

But other than that (and that "issue" alone, because honestly I had no other problems at all with the game) the animations were sublime, the ambient music fitting, the general atmosphere immersed me (and the environment itself very well crafted, it really does 'feel' and look like an island untouched by modern civilization and forgotten in time), the voice acting was good, the story was entertaining, the graphics were detailed (and the hair physics pretty neat as well, I had basically no slowdowns unless by coincidence and rarely so the camera would get too close to them), the controls responsive. I mean it's all there, a great package of fun and to think... I paid it $8.00 on GmG.com, it was a steal, it's easily worth its full initial price and the devs deserve a round of applause for their work and dedication.

Next time, however, please just remove Survival Instinct mode guys (speaking for myself here).

metro 2033
metro LL
Crysis Warhead
Crysis 2
Crysis 3
Deadspace 2
Battlefield 4 (SP)
Spec Ops the Line
Far Cry 3
Bioshock Infinite
GTA IV the lost and damned
Mass Effect 1
shogun 2 and fots Campaigns on legendary and very hard difficulty

I liked metro 2033 and Mass effect 1 the most. Spec Ops had the most original story to me although it was based off of a published story. I really need to play some more rpgs after all these shooters.

My biggest disappointment of this year had to be Rome 2. I was really looking forward to getting that game on day one and jumping into the multiplayer, but we all know how that game turned out.

Man, you guys finish a lot of games. I don't seem to do that very often anymore.

Bioshock Infinite
Rayman Origins (but it was started a while ago)
Tearaway (it was so short I forgot I played it )

I don't think I saw anything else to the end.

I think Mass Effect 3 is the only one that compelled me enough to finish.

Hmmm, just going from memory. Some of these might have been 2012 but I don't think so...

SC2: HotS
Sleeping Dogs
Fallout 3
Max Payne 3

Surprisingly I think that is it for PC. I guess I didn't get to too many games last year, I only beat 1 or 2 more on consoles (Zelda LBW, Uncharted 2). Just prior to 2013 though I re-beat a lot of classics and played through some classics that I never played.

I finished Quake 2 Ground Zero (a little late to make 2013), but I've started Descent 3 and done the first two levels.

The graphics hold up impressively well for a 1999 game, and the gameplay is still absolutely marvellous. A timeless classic from the golden era of PC gaming.

Crysis 3? I don't know if there was any others. I wasn't play many games that you could 'finish'. (I'm all about competitive multiplayer)

Borderlands 2 (only one playthrough though). Um...Resident Evil: Revelations.

I think that was it. I got kinda burnt out on gaming for quite a while this year.

I started Saints Row 4 and I think Dead Island and a few other games.

You guys are putting me to shame. I play a lot of games but it takes something special to get me to the end. I think I completed maybe 2-3 games last year. The odd exception is Skyrim, which I have not completed but of which I have put in over 100 hours. For that game I'll claim a technical completion by virtue of attrition .

I did a thousand skirmishes in AoM.

I did that for a while too, but the computer is just too boring. I remember online Loki hersirs and Kronos oracles coming to my Isis base and start working down the front towers before I even got to Classical age. That Valkyrie popping out as soon as he''d hit Classical was gg almost always. Or the atlantean following up with a thousand turmas, it was annoying as fuck.

Still, the first migdol I was able to put up was pretty much gg for any atlantean/norse. Good times:awe:

Norse is a little too good. Your warriors can set up new barracks right near the front line and overwhelm everyone.

Only really had time to finish Tomb Raider due to working so much this past year. Definitely enjoyed getting 100% on it.

I played Just Cause 2 for about 45 minutes and gave up.
Totally uninteresting game play. Ditto Far Cry 3.
