Games you want to buy during steam 2013 summer sale

The witcher 2 was something like $7 on steam a few days ago.

Witcher 2 was something like $7.50 and the original witcher was something like $4 or $5.

There was a bundle with both games for like $9, or $9.50.

I bought the bundle and bought a spare copy of the witcher 1 to gift out later.

I will probably finally get Half life 2.

Half-Life 2 is on sale right now, 75% off (Midweek Madness); it probably won't go any lower than that even during the summer sale. Or get the Half-Life Complete package, which is a pretty good deal, if you don't have all those games already.

Origin is not required to play Alice: Madness Returns, and it probably never will be, as long as it's on Steam.

I know it's all speculation but playing the game requires an EA account now (it did not previously) which some leads some Steam users to think that EA's going to phase Origins back in. EA can change the terms as they see fit and I'm not having any part of that.

Ever since being subjected to Batman: Arkham City requiring the god-awful GWFL I'm going to vote with my wallet and not support games that make me jump through hoops like this. If it means I'll miss some good games so be it--my backlog is huge enough as it is.

Look in Hot Deals, it's 56% off at Amazon right now and activates on Steam.I really dont think Steam will go 66% on this game..but could be wrong?

With development on Mirror's Edge (2) getting underway, I would expect to see it on sale pretty often (original games tend to get dirt cheap on STEAM the closer the sequel gets to being released....I would assume to drum up interest in the new title).

My guess is the new Mirror's Edge (which is just...Mirror's Edge....as it is a reload of the story and not actually a sequel) will probably be an Origin title, though.

Hmmm, should I buy Half-Life 2 now during midweek madness? I have a feeling Steam summer sale starts right after but I don't know...$2.50 for Half-Life 2 seems as good as it gets, lol. Never played the original Half-Life...graphics look pretty bad from the screenshots so I think I'll pass on that one.
