oh i need help. how do you get the item on the cliff at the beginning of darkwood garden? its on the left hand side when you are going towards the Crest of Artorias bonfire.

Take the path by the bonfire leading into the area with the stone knights. Go past the first opening on your right (with the 3 tree dudes). Not far into the main clearing along the right edge there will be a suspicious looking tree (an actual tree). It needs a beating.

yea, i was farming there last night for about 110+ souls so i could buy absolution (reset my sins)... come to think of it, i think that was a waste of time.

LOL, I did that last night too - level 60 so I had to farm 120k. Not sure if it is worth it.

I finished the game last Friday and started a NG+. I also started a new character with a completely different style of play. My first character was an ultra-tank knight who stood there and blocked everything before beating things down with a Black Knight's Axe. My new character is a nimble fencer who relies on dodging an parrying.

I've spent a lot of time figuring out the tricks of the game. If anyone has any questions, I think I can probably answer them now.

LOL, I did that last night too - level 60 so I had to farm 120k. Not sure if it is worth it.

I dropped the controller when talking to Big Hat Logan and R2'ed him. He agroed on me and he was lost to me unless I sought absolution. I then got trapped in the Painted World at too low a level. Faced with the choice between grinding out hundreds of thousands of souls in the Painted World to get out, and then do it again to un-agro Big Hat, I decided to restart.

what?! don't take the easy way out....you can get souls rather quickly in the painted world, so i don't think it will take you too long to be able to get out. btw, the boss is an optional fight anyways.

Yes, but I already triggered it. Once you trigger it you cannot leave without winning. Hence, I'm stuck.

So I just cleared blighttown, kill queelag and rang the second belll and tried to go to demon's ruins and got owned by the boss there. So I went to sens fortress and the enemies take a ton of damage to kill, so I went to darkroot basin and got killed by the humans down there. I'm soul level 42 not sure where to go :S oh also the dragons in drake valley take forever to kill too, where did you guys go at this point?

I'm still using drake sword

ive been using the lightning spear i got from sen's, it has some pretty good dmg. hmm...lvl 42 shouldn't have problems in darkroot or sen's though. did you kill the hydra in the forest yet??

Yea I just ended up not using the drake sword and switched to zweihander, hits a lot better and knocked down most enemies in sens fortress so made it easy. Cleared sens fortress and sif easy, now stuck in that painting world . Lightning spear is pretty good i use it when I don't need the knockdown from zweihander.

yea, watch out for those birdmen. their grab attack hurts.
