I bought a aoc g2590fx monitor and it’s great when playing games but watching videos on it is awful. It has a weird choppiness to it and sort of looks pixelated like when your internet speed is slow but mine is at 150Mbps hard wired in.

I’ve got 14 days to return it and get a different monitor. I have $300 to spend and need help on what to get.

I need 144hz, picture quality, freesync and to order it from amazon. Other then that I don’t really care about the options. I can do 24 or 27 inch, I have the room on my desk size wise.

So what do you suggest? Thank you in advance

I had Bought a USED Samsung UHD 27" older 4k Monitor. Got it for a Good deal.
I don't have the GPU Horsepower yet so just been running it in 2k 1440p.

Well Under THAT Price....Totally Worth it.

My son got this one for Christmas. It's an Acer GN246HL. It fits your criteria and the price is good. He really likes it paired with his RX570.
I tried to talk him into the Acer XFA240 but he saw the first one at a friends house and fell in love with it. Either one might work for you though.

I’ve been looking at the Asus VG279Q. It’s $329 but is a 3ms ips 1080p 27 inch 144hz freesync monitor that is a new panel. Idk if any of you have seen this but it looks like everything I want in a monitor.

Have you checked online to see if there is a solution to your problem either through driver settings or display adapter settings? It could be something simple...

I have. I scoured thru amazon reviews and found someone who had the same issue as me. I honestly think my issue is I don’t like TN monitors. My last monitor was a hp ips that I used for 2 years so I think I just got use to the image quality of ips. Sucks tho because that Asus monitor is $339 and the aoc g2590fx I have now was only $200.

I'd try to kick down the extra cash for the ips monitor then. It's something you'll likely keep for years, may as well be happy with it.
