MS intellimouse explorer works great. I have an MX700 but I don't like it.

(edit, I just blinded myself with the laser looking at the tag on the bottom for you to make sure I had it right. AIIIEEEE MY EYEEESSS!)

Yeah like I was saying I have an mx700 plugged in as well. It's really accurate, but it seems like there's a bit of delay in it. I prefer the MS mouse for FPS games.

I have a crummy little IBM optical mouse that came with my dad's computer... works just fine. Before that I was using a regular old MS explorer (ball mouse)...

Mouse is just a tool.. it's the skill that makes the player.

mx700 is awesome.

i notice no delay.

if you want a good corded optical, get an mx300.

i'm looking at the mx900... i wonder what bluetooth has over RF... probably nothing. so i guess i'll stick with the 700.

its not the mouse, its the user.

errrr, no.

mx300, mx500 and MS explorer 3.0 are all good... the explorer randomly scrolls though (at least mine a few peoples I know did).

once you get to a certain point, the mouse matters.
generic $10 mice tend to skip if you move them fast.

I have the Microsoft Optical mouse and it works great. I'd reccomend a corded one because the wireless have a battery which make it heavier, and in my experience the lighter mice seem to be easier to use in FPS games.

I used an intellimouse explorer (in all its iterations -- I got it when it first came out and as they died, MS replaced it, upgrading me along the way) for gaming until 2 months ago when I switched to the MX700. Both the Explorer 3.0 and the 700 are excellent for gaming.

i just found the mx700 for 30 bucks. this seems fairly reasonable considering it has a cradle to recharge, this way you wont need AA batteries.

what i really like is the mouse buttons on the side (this functionality is good for ventrillo users like me)

im debating between the mx310 and mx700 depending on which deal sounds the best.

edit:

doh, just found out the mx700 was refurb for 30 bucks.

Another vote for the razor boomslang. when properly cleaned, it give you the best pinpoint control of any mouse out there.

I'd just get mx500 if you like the side buttons, then you don't have to worry about recharging it.
