Gaming PC !Help!

Hello, I recently put together a PC that I've been wanting. These are the parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pzMVjX . I just wanted to know if it's a good gaming PC for around the price that I have it at. My budget is no more than $480. I am willing to play game at 1080p around mid settings with some good fps. I was also wondering if I would be able to record some Minecraft and some other games at around mid settings? Thanks.

It'd probably be best if you had posted this in General Hardware, perhaps a mod will see this and move it. That being said you're paying way too much for an R7 370. When it comes to gaming one of the most critical parts is the GPU. I've swapped it to an R9 380 which is a far better GPU and still within budget. The build should be fine for minecraft and ok for recording. It'd likely struggle with live streaming for any modern game but it should be able to play them at typically around medium detail level.

Keeping in mind OP should budget another ~$80 on a Windows OS as well unless he has a friend with a copy... :'(

Minecraft does run on Linux, it runs quite well actually.

http://www.logicalincrements.com/#!/ is a good source for getting gaming hardware recommendations at different budgets, and their "Good" build is pretty darn similar to yours for about the same price, so I'd say your right on track.
