I have recently decided that I want to build a new gaming pc from the ground up, I want to use all brand new parts (non from my current pc). My budget is in the area of 2000-2500$ and I would appreciate some input. I have asked many people I know personally and have recieved all kinds of different advice. These people are not 'connesuers' of pc parts, so I am here asking you guys! I want to be able to play games (MMORPGS/FPS) with the absolute best settings without losing framerates and at the best resolotions.
EDIT:
1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
-Pretty much only for gaming and a few other minor tasks that can be done using any old computer.
2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
-My budget is 2000-2500$
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
-I plan to buy online if I can and locally from (Toronto, Canada) if I can't.
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
-My current PC uses Intel I7 Extreme (no problems with it what so ever), I love nVidia.
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
-I intend to use no current parts.
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
-I would most likely run at default speeds.
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
-1920-1080 or higher.
9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
-Within the next two weeks. Earlier the better.
10. Don't ask for a build configuration critique or rating if you are thin skinned.
