I just installed XP Media Center 2005 on a Dell Mini 12 (yes, I know, it makes little sense for a modest performer like the Mini 12)...
Anyway, everything installed OK, all service packs and updates are installed.
However, the Media Center itself doesn't work. When I launch it, the start screen is a bunch of garbled blue and white geometic figures...If I manage to navigate away from the start screen (although I can't see what I'm doing), the links work OK. E.g., I was able to look at the canned slideshow...
Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions?
The rest of the windows installation seems fine. I watched a video on Windows Media Player (11) and that worked OK.
