Garmin nuvi 350 is available at Costco for $350. Shipping for me was another $10. If you don't have Costco membership, there is a 5% ($17.50) surcharge.
Here is the direct link.
Costco is nationwide so you'll probably have to pay sales tax as well. Still this is significantly lower than any other reputable place I've seen. In addition, Costco has a very liberal return policy.

Damn that's cheap for the Nuvi 350. I'm holding out for the 660 to drop in price (to near $500), but this deal is very tempting right now. Does anyone know if Garmin is planning to slash prices on all existing models to usher in their new 300 and 600 models?

How does the Nuvi 660 differ from the 350?

You can choose GARMIN products here and it gives you a comparison.
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="https://buy.garmin.com/shop/compare.do?cID=134&compare=compare&compareProduct=6290&compareProduct=400">https://buy.garmin.com/shop/compare.......areProduct=6290&compareProduct=400</a>

According to that, 660 is larger, has a larger screen with higher resolution, has a 7-hour battery life (instead of 8), and weighs 6.2 ounces (instead of 5.1).
It also has Bluetooth handsfree calling, an FM transmitter, and costs 50% more.

I am happy with my 350. My only problem is I don't know how to backup my favorites!

The Nuvi 660 has a much larger screen than the 350. The 660's equivalent in the 350's size is the Nuvi 360. They also have the new Nuvi 370, 670 and 680. The 370 and 670 have maps of the US and Europe while the 680 has only maps of the US, but it also has the MSN Direct receiver that it uses to get weather, movie times, traffic, gas prices, and other info.. The 670 or 370 don't have this MSN Direct receiver or the software for it.

I didn't really need a slim / portable unit so I recently got a StreetPilot c580. It's the newest in the StreetPilot line and also has the MSN Direct feature. Very handy to have.

Not on the road enough to warrant MSN Direct besides, it is like 30 bucks a month, right?

Very sweet. I'd take this over larger units... this thing is so tiny and portable you really can't go wrong.

This thing is awesome. Driving around a big city, it helps so much. And if I'm out in the middle of nowhere and feel like driving somewhere that looks sweet, I can do it and not worry about getting lost.

It sometimes gives directions that are less than ideal, but that rarely happens, and they'll always get you there. It ain't perfect but it's pretty darn close.

It's free for the first year when you get a Garmin unit that supports it.

MSN Direct is $50 a year (free for first year). Or you can pay $129 for a lifetime subscription. This is pretty cool for traffic, weather, gas prices, and movie times. The gas prices info will surely pay for a good chunk of that fee. Now if only I had a grand laying around for that nuvi 680...

Hopefully they get the Nuvi 380 out this summer. The 680 is nice, but way too much for me.
