The list price seems exaggerated but I found other places selling this unit between $600-900

It's a way older model so it should include such features as a trip log, multi-destination routing, and permanent road avoidance, features that Garmin neutered when it came out with the Nuvi line of systems.

They're bringing certain features back, one by one (this year multi-destination routing is back on the 7xx series) but the new units are still not as fully featured as the classics.

These are great on motorcycles.

Mines been in heavy rain at speed for hours ,with no problems .
