I know people always complaining here, but I just a calculation of

10.26 MAD/ litre = ~38.51MAD/ gallon = $5.23/gallon (.13488 conversion rate of USD to Moroccan Dirhams)

In Europe is even more than that !
Somehow diesel is cheaper at 7.20MAD (Moroccan Dirhams)

I don't really complain about gas prices and I drive an SUV, considering the miles I drive gas price is maybe $300-$400 more a year, so be it.
Say I drive 10,000miles a year, divided by 18miles to the gallon... say its ~560 gallons of gas I use per year.
If gas went up by a dollar say from $2.5 to $3.5, this is about ~$500 a year.
I am not sure how bad others have it I guess, but this is not worth talking about everyday... yeah I know some people do.

My math is just an aprox. so don't crazy with the math here..lol I know some people here would love to.

I guess I will add this question:

What living style adjustments did you make or plan to make because of gas prices ?

Yes, because it is practical to ride a bike forty miles to work.

I think another problem is public transportation is not available everywhere. The country is quite big to have trains all over.

The only adjustments I had to make is live closer to work, try to combine my trips as much I can, and no more driving around for fun.

You can rectify that by not living in the suburbs...

Yeah, I spend more than the average person on gas probably (~$250/mo at $3/gal), but I don't sit around bitching about it. My alternative would be to sell my townhouse at a loss and move into a tiny apartment close to work. Spending an extra $100/mo on gas isn't that bad in comparison.

I live past the suburbs... out in the woods. And I would rather pay more for transportation costs than live anywhere remotely city/suburban.

I would make absolutely no changes because gas really isn't all that expensive even with all the bitching you hear about it these days. That said, I am buying a Ford Focus for my first car which gets 28/35 MPG, so I should be pretty well off, but I'm not buying it for the gas milage just because I like the car (and can afford it).

I'm not going to change my lifestyle/habits due to gas prices increasing. In the big picture, the extra money a year isn't noticeable to me.

Gas price is $5.07 CAD ($5.04 USD) a gallon here in BC Canada where we supplies the US with natural gas, and AB is our neighbor province that provide the bulk of the oil that Canada export to the US.

Gas price hasn't change my life style.

I've cut back on driving even though I get 24/32 MPG for my car. I used to drive up and down the cruise spots for fun when I was bored. I probably drive about 150 miles a week now though, so at least that's nice.

Other than reduce the number of long driving vacations we take, not many changes at all. I've always kept my vehicles in good condition so they'll get the best mileage they can, (proper tire pressure, clean air filters, etc.) so not many changes to make there, but I do find I'm driving a bit more "conservatively." There's not much I can do to improve the mileage in the Expedition other than the things I've mentioned here, and the Jetta gets pretty decent mileage as long as I "keep my foot out of it."

£1 = 14.44 MAD would mean it would cost 15.88 MAD per litre of petrol and 16.89 MAD for deisel in the UK, so not everywhere in Europe is cheap.

I haven't made any changes yet as I don't make any pointless short journeys in my car and never have, even when it was about 1/3 cheaper in price for fuel. I'm keeping my eye on the food prices though.....

I drive 25,000 miles a year... so asking me to slow down or drive conservatively would wind up taking a chunk of my time... I just deal with it.

What does your expedition get for gas mileage (calculated, not what's on paper)?

On the highway, 16-18, in town, 12-14. Pretty dismal, but in 3 years we've driven it less than 25000 miles, so the increased gas prices don't hurt us as much as they would if we drove a lot.

Nobody twisted your arm and made you live 40 miles away from work.

You must work for the oil companies...or own a ton of oil stock. The majority of Americans would disagree with you. Gas is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE and we're being raped by the speculators.
