No, we're paying for the privilege of living in a state that's greater than the other 49 combined. Having the highest gas prices in the country sucks, but living elsewhere would suck even more.
Meanwhile crude oil prices are lower then in years.

CA isn't the last place in the country I'd choose to live, but it's in the bottom 25%.
Gas here is $2.5x/gal
lol. So who beat CA? Michigan? Florida?
We pay $7.50 USD in my country. (1.77 euros per liter).come to Canada, we are paying close to $5.10/gallon and thats the norm
Places I'd (not)like to live...
Top 5
Maine
New Hampshire
Vermont
Washington
Pennsylvania (with caveats)
Bottom 5
Florida
Mississippi
Louisiana
New Jersey
Texas
CA would hit my bottom 10. It would be contested by Kansas, Iowa, Missouri... Perfectly fine states, but boring and flat. Throw some mountains or ocean at any of them, and they'd shoot up past California.
I'm waiting paitiently for the "I drove 20 miles out of town to save 5 cents a gallon" posts.
They always make me laugh.
I've lived in Maine and now live in FL, I get Maine's down-to-earth people and beauty but damm it's horribly cold in wintertime, unless your into skiing your more or less home-bound because of the cold.

Keep saying that over and over. Brain washed / damaged.
