Funny, dropped in America's heartland by $0.04 this past week.
They must be getting their statistics from you; shopping for the highest fuel prices instead of using "gasbuddy"

Funny, you guys must have your own gas supply different from the rest of the Country.
Gas went up a dime here over the weekend.

Gas prices on the rise
If the trend of rising fuel costs continues, American consumers may feel the sting of $3 per gallon prices this year, AAA says.
"Looking back at 2006, gas prices affected people?s pocketbooks, purchases and perceptions about gas," said AAA spokeswoman Catherine L. Rossi.
"The question is how high will gasoline prices rise and will high prices become the norm rather than the exception?" said Rossi.
Ross DiBono, executive director of the Pennsylvania Gasoline Retailers Association, says he doesn?t believe prices will hit the $3 mark any time soon. The last time it hit that mark in the region was last May when there were reports of some verbal abuse against gas station cashiers.
DiBono, of Marple, whose organization includes more than 600 members, about 180 in Delaware County, said, "I don?t see any sense of urgency that prices are going to go through the roof.
"They?re going up slightly right now; I just think most of it is seasonal and global demand is increasing. And that is continuing to have an effect on the prices we pay here in the U.S.
"Right now, gasoline is slightly higher than it was a year ago," DiBono said.
"Basically, I think the oil companies have gotten used to earning high profits and no matter what the supply and demand are, they are going to sell gasoline at a profit."
