Gasbuddy would be so much better if it wasn't just a dumping ground where you could type in anything you want for the information. They should have a database of gas stations that is monitored and updated and then you'd have to select the station you wanted to enter and put in the price. Should be able to then pull up a map by zip code, see the stations, etc.

Problem is right now, 10 people can report the same station by getting the name wrong, typo'ing the street, listing the streets in reverse order, etc. It's too random.

the virginia gas prices has it like you said - database - but they have a listing for a lot of other states off of that page

Yeah, its sometimes useful, they also need a date instead of just a day of the week, unless they expire weekly ?, the prices seem a little inaccurate

Why do the canadian prices show gas to be more like 75 $CA/gallon than 2 $US/gallon? Surely gas isn't that expensive! I was quite sure that the canadian dollar wasn't more than an order of magnitude lower in value than the US dollar. http://www.torontogasprices.com/

I'd guess it's something akin to cents per litre

Alot of those "low priced" stations are deceptive and sell 86 octane instead of 87. Put that in my tank once by mistake and it pissed me off.
