Anybody know anything about this laptop? The price is good - but I can't find any reviews or detailed specs.

I'm using one right now. Great laptop, in my opinion. Not for gamers, great for net surfers. Wide-screen + 1280 resolution is great. Thin and lightweight. Perfect for my purposes. Only downside is 256MB of ram and a single slot. So, to upgrade, I had to buy a single stick. So now I have 1GB in the laptop and the original 256 lying in my desk drawer.

It's got a single slot? I bought a stick of 512 and figured I'd just add it to make 768 (minus 16 for video).

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get a stick of 1 GB now. I'll have a stick of 256, and a stick of 512 laying around.

I did some surfing last night on it, and it lasted more than 4 hours.

Wow. If that's true, then this is a GREAT deal for an internet/word processing/etc laptop

i'm not too knowledgeable about laptop deals, but how good a deal is this? A non profit org wanted me to let them know of a good deal on a laptop, so I want something good but not too pricey (using it for basic stuff ie word processing, data entry, internet).

Well, now that I look closer, this model number is different from mine, but i'm betting it has a single slot as well. I have the mx3215, whereas this is the mx3230. My specs are here.
I cannot seem to find the specs for this current model.

Battery life is ~3 hours for internet surfing on a full battery.

Great little laptop. Purchase mine back in Feb and have been using it daily ever since.
The battery is approx. 3 - 4 hours depending on what you are doing. Nice machine for the money, also has (1) year warranty.

The notebook's predecessor, nx200 was considered best among $600 range, affortable Notebooks.

It seems like the only difference is the CPU on board. 370 instead of 360.

I prefer Celeron over Sempron on budget notebooks, becaues it consume less power.
