Well I'm washing my hands of this, I've got a life to live outside of cheap geforce 4's.

I hereby pass the torch to any miserable too-much-time-on-my-hands dealhunter that would like to turn the screws on Gateway. I think there's probably one or two of you mulling about.

Man, I've spent almost two weeks waiting for this. I didnt build a system as of yet because I was waiting.
Put the product on backorder! Fine! Change the date of shipping since its not your fault! FINE! But how can you cancel orders? Ill wait a month even to get my video card:Q

No kidding, I'm sitting here with a Permedia 2 in one of my comps because Gateway doesn't want me to have their card. I'd get a 4200, but who knows when those will hit the shelves...

Well I have not been cancelled yet, but I didn't order till the last few days of the deal. I am guessing it's just a matter of time. This will certainly suck! Now they have all my info and CC number in their database. I tried to go and change the CC info, but it won't let you delete it completely. When you go back to it later, it's there again! This BITES!

It'll be a while before they issue a coupon like that again.

I'm just glad I got a couple of 955DF and 1.8A with the coupon.
I guess I won't be getting my 4400 now.

Oh well, save me some money.

Yep, same here, just need my case and this video card to finish my system... I guess I'll have to stick with my GeForce 2 GTS and find some cheap video card somewhere... This sucks.

I havent gotten cancelled yet, but I will be so pissed if I do. I was deliberating for a few days as to whether to get the Radeon 8500 or the Ti4400 with the $50 coupon. I went with the Ti, and now if it was cancelled, I lost my chance to get a good priced video card. I already ordered the rest of the components for my system, and they'll be here next week, but now I need a video card. :|

Looks like it will be just a matter of time before they cancel all the GF4 orders.
Its another CDRExpress all over again(this is when they just take the item off inventory and decides not to fulfill it).

All of us need to EMAIL them and ask for a replacement $50 coupon to be use on something else.
I don't mind them cancel the order but I wish I had the $50 back to use on something else.
Might work, you never know.

This situation is completely ddifferent from BESTBUY.
BESTBUY made a pricing error so they had to cancel it.

What Gateway doing is unethical. They knowingly put out a $50 coupon for us to use.
The 4400 and 4600 is being released and they need to fullfil their orders.
Its not like they couldn't get these cards because Ingram Micro is supplying these cards and they will have it in the warehouse in the future.
Gateway decides that there are just too many orders to fullfil and they don't want to do it.

Gateway is doing the same thing with the 1.6A.
Ingram Micro has these in their Warehouse but for some reason Gateway decide to take it off their list and not fullfil the orders.

What Gateway doing is just totally wrong. They put out a coupon for us to use and thats what we're doing.

Gateway sucks! Remember the P4 2G for $918 deal? Finally I cancelled the order cause they don't want to grand the price of the monitor and kept saying that is a price error. Stupid company! Don't trust good deals from Gateway, they will find any reason to piss you off!!!

i find this kind of crap to be "the norm" for Gateway Accessory Store aka NECXDirect

i ordered an item (Rio Advanced Digital Receiver) from them on Feb 5, 2002
on Feb 13, 2002 (or so) i noticed that they had changed the description & specifications of the item i ordered on the product detail webpage
then today i went back to the website to once again see WHAT IS UP with my order (as a result of this thread) and i saw that not only is my product still on backorder but they have completely REMOVED the item from their site

i think i am screwed just like you guys....... however i intend to fight it, as my order is around $3k value not $400, and i WILL be getting what i ordered.....

one more thing, when i ordered my GF3 ti200 from the a couple weeks ago, i got my order literally the next day as i live not too far from the Tech Direct warehouse (they are a distributor like Ingram Micro) and it was drop-shipped direct from TD so its possible that maybe whoever they are sourcing the GF4's from is completely out and not expecting any more shipments for a while...and so GW had to kill your orders?? i still don't agree with them just doing this, just looking for a reason...

Mine's cancelled too. I ordered a Ti4600 on the 22nd, got my email tonight at 8:34est. DICKS! I ordered parts for a whole new system to build around this card, and I've got everthing else delivered except for this card. Now I'll have to look for a decent deal somewhere else. :|:|

Mine still shows product backorderd for the 4400. I placed it on the 4400. How can they just cancel orders? Ill wait 2 months if need be to get my card. They can fullfill them as time progress, so how can they just cancel it? Its not impossible not to fullfill them, just will take time.
