I talked to Gateway. They didn't reinstate any orders. Their system won't let them do that. The old order was cancelled and a new one was put in its place.

I have an Order Number: xxxxx7011 and it was reinstated early monring 3/06. But since I live in CA it'll take 3 days to ship I assume. Hopefully before next Friday for league match I'll have it.

Holy S**t, I just called home to check and turns out I got a UPS package from Gateway. I live on Long Island and I got the order reinstated on March 5th right before they closed. The origianl order was February 24th.

The downside is I have to come into Manhattan to work overtime tomorrow. I want to play with this card.

It would be great if some of those who recieved their cards could post their order numbers so we know where we are in the queue!

My original order number was ***0061 and the new order number is ***21011

Going from your order number I suspect my card shipped out yesterday or today as well!

well, my CC doesn't show any activity, so I might be getting my hopes up for nothing.

I really don't think this is going to determine the order in which they are sent. I think they just do them all in NJ and NY first cuz their lucky #%*($.
ok I found my original order #: ####71061 place Feb 24th

What it seems like is that they are shipping out orders based on their reinstatement date. I need to call them and make sure Im in the next batch. There is no reason why people who ordered later should get the cards before those who ordered before in the orignal order.

Well Sensor on these forums Sold me his GF4 Ti 4400 and told me that it would be a while that gateway had them on hold or whatever its was. But he pmed me today saying that he got a confirmation saying it was shipped.



<< Gateway said they sent it today (3/22). As such, I should receive it Monday... Tuesday at the latest! I guess a little patience pays off, right? >>



So maybe some of them are getting out

Gateway says that they are shipping purchases in the order they were received--in other words, by current order number (all original orders were cancelled, so those numbers are meaningless). I am 59011 and mine shipped out yesterday too...

I wonder what number they started at....either way, it looks like all orders [at least] from 01011 through 77011 (011 is on all orders) have shipped out. If anyone with an order # higher than 77011 received their card today, please post. Perhaps we can determine just exactly how many they shipped.

I recieved my TI4400 today at around 4:00 PM EST and I live in NYC. My original order date was 2/23/02. My reinstation date was 03/06/02. I pretty much reinstated it as soon as my order was cancelled. Hope this will help those less fortunate than me.

what is your last 5 digits of your order # (the reinstated order #) please. Inquiring minds wish to know.
I just called them but they're closed and 800gateway couldn't help and neither could gateway country store who she transferred me to ...agent 888.
Sure wish I had a tracking #. I'm gonna call my CC company and see if they charged it..cuz on the web it takes longer to show up. Anyone who got their 4400 did you get your CC charged yet? Maybe we might get these for free...ya think?

Well that's just f**kin great... I originally ordered in the first frickin hour of the deal, then reinstated on the first day, but they screwed up the reinstated order, so my final "good" order didn't go in until the 13th.

I feel the same way TGS. At this rate we wont recieve our cards till may. It owuld be best if you called gateway and demanded to be in the next shipment.

looks like they could have filled a good amount of the 4400 orders if not all of them.

saw this on HardOCP forums.

so just between these 2 forums 8 or 10 people have reported already recieving or confirming it has shiped.

the thing that concerns me si the person who called support and was told april. from my experience its likely that this particular rep was clueless. I hope so.

MrBass, just curious if they still charged you tax on your reinstated order? I have heard some people mention that they were not charged tax on their new orders and since I am in CA as well, was wondering if that was the case with you. Thanks in advance.

Hey, for those that got this card already.. did you guys get a "your card shipped" e-mail from gateway/necx ? Just curious.. also, did your order update at the order center? (check first post in this thread to find way to order center..)

I live in Long Island too, but didn't get my card on Friday Maybe Monday.. My orig. order on Feb 26th, and new order on Mar 7th..

Just got mine yesterday. No emails or anything - surprised the hell outta me.

Ok - just checked my order status and it STILL says "backordered." Considering the card came yesterday, methinks NecX should spend some of our money on better databases.

I received the email notification from them that my order shipped on Friday (from distributor in NJ). The reason I got that email is because I emailed them last Monday just to inquire about my order. I also called on Wednesday and was told "mid-April" at which point I thought about just canceling because it seems like the Ti4400 is getting cheaper every day on Pricewatch.

So..... yesterday afternoon I check email and get the message back from my original email inquiry that my Ti4400 had shipped Friday. Go figure.

My advice to those who haven't heard is to call Gateway on Monday and ask them what the story is and see if they can make sure yours gets shipped soon.

I don't think there is any method to their madness unfortunately. They've put us through the ringer on this deal but it's nice to know that we should all be happy campers sometime this coming week (hopefully).


For those that received their Ti4400's do they overclock well?

Nope - haven't checked the card yet - will tonight. My invoice is the right price, however - along with the "$50 credit applied" in the "Notes" section.
