On my new PC which comes next Thursday, there is a 250 Watt Power Supply, will it be able to handle this or is Gateway taking a shot here?

dont worry about it.
if it f****s up it will be repaced/fixed.

except I am putting the geforce4 in seperately, I bought it at http://geforce.marlinsbaseball.com

If the power supply is weak pardon my ignorance here, what would be at risk? The power supply or the Geforce 4 card?

Even with that GeForce 4, I wouldn't worry about it.
