People post as if he was seriously needing help; half the people in OT didn't realize that Skoorb was joking; it looks like many newcomers don't know that Skoorb really is married already.

This was known as the Skoorb effect.

It was hideously funny, and other OT members decided to try something similar.

I tend also to lean towards #1. She just sounds, well, more real, and the long-term benefits sound better. I also agree with everyone that the numerous "ex's" are a bad sign (you may find yourself in that category sooner than you think..)

But it really all depends on what you're looking for in a woman.

Now maybe I'm too simplistic about these things, but it seems to me that since they don't know each other and likely never will, DATE BOTH OF THEM is the obvious answer.

Date both. Think of dating like the interview process for a job. It goes on for a few rounds, and the longer it goes, the easier it is to cross off people as potential candidates. But you always start with more than one person because you never are really sure about them.

You can settle down with one of them if anything happens, but by no means restrict your options be committing already.

Women do the choosing. I hate to sound chauvinistic, but us guys just let them know we're available and interested. Ultimately, it's up to them if the relationship goes on further.

sometimes a girl having a lot of guy friends just means that her personality fits that. doesn't necessarily mean there's a lot of baggage. unfortutely, girls have horrible taste in guys so you probably won't meet any friends through her.

Since they both share the smart and easy to talk to qualities, you have to decide between gorgeous and cute. Myself, this gorgeous one sounds like she has a lot of past baggage (reminds me of one of my ex's, she was absolutely stunning, but we were always dealing with stuff that kept coming up from the past), and that could lead to problems.
