Yesterday, several Jewish participants in the *** March Chicago were told to leave the event because their flags had the Jewish Star of David.
Laurel Grauer, one of the participants ejected from the parade, told the Windy City Timesthat she not only was told to leave but was publicly harassed by other marchers.
“In the heart of our city one of the most blatant incidents of anti-Semitism took place today at the *** March,” said AJC Chicago Director Amy Stoken. “Where is the collective outrage over this despicable targeting of Jews?”
The flag Grauer was carrying was from “my congregation which celebrates my queer, Jewish identity which I have done for over a decade marching in the *** March with the same flag,” said Grauer. “Prior to this [march] I had never been harassed or asked to leave and I had always carried the flag with me.”
The Jewish pride flag consists of a Jewish Star of David on the gay pride flag. The Jewish marchers were told that their flag is offensive.
“An annual march celebrating inclusion and acceptance was hijacked today by those who believe Jews do not belong to the LGBTQ community,” said Stoken. “Shame on the organizers of the *** March for not ensuring Jewish marchers can participate as freely as any other participant.”

According to the organizers three people were asked to leave because they were harassing other participants promoting a Zionist agenda. One of them was a director of a Zionist group. Others have carried the flag in the march for years and never had an issue.
Not stating anything about whether Zionism is a good or bad thing, just that there is more to the story apparently.

A little hyperbole on my part to match the OP. What it does say is:From the link you posted I see no mention of the ousted Jews harassing others, apart from the Israeli flag offending people.
This decision was made after they repeatedly expressed support for Zionism during conversations with Chicago *** March Collective members.

I don't think the protesters were necessarily motivated by hatred, but the intolerance accusation might not be misapplied. Seems to me silly to kick people out with whom you find mostly common cause because of a secondary disagreement. To me it'd be like a Catholic-organized Pro-Life march which then kicked out Atheists for Life when they showed up.
You gotta take friends where you can get them.
The left are hypocrites just as much as the right.
I don't see them stopping America's imperialist policies. I don't see them stopping the mega corporations from growing even more. I could go on and on but it doesn't matter.
Both sides are totally empty and worthless.
