I put the link in here...because I am not a fan of censoring when its not favorable...and I found nothing offensive about the article...or anything that showed a lack of tolerance..so i'm not cool with being locked...that was a definite different thread...cuz it was Chuck Norris and again he speaks out politically..and the influence that has on people.



It doesn't matter if you are cool with the lock. It didn't include your own input which is a rule enforced stringently, secondly there are already numerous threads like this one discussing Prop 8, another thread about Chuck Norris's opinion regarding Prop 8 doesn't merit yet another thread. Finally if you have complaints about the moderation either post about them in PFI or PM Derek or the Moderators.

You did not provide enough commentary. If you look around at other threads that have been locked for a lack of commentary you will see that 'my hero!' doesn't come even close to cutting it.

I never said he doesn't have a right to speak out, what I did say that what he was saying when he spoke out was really dumb. Then again it's Chuck Norris, I don't really know what I was expecting.

Anyways, they all need new threads for the same reason Sarah Palin needed 100+ threads in 2 months.

They need their own thread as much as there needs to be a thread every time a homosexual person has the shit kicked out of the them for being outwardly gay. I wonder how the scales would tip if we compared that violence to these kinds of peaceful protests in new threads 365 days a year. Finally, if you are suggesting I'm homophobic or a bigot, you're going to need to prove how that is a "gene" that can be passed down.

I must lack the gene the makes people disgusted by such things. As a matter of fact, had this happened at Divine Child in Dearborn at a mass I was attending, I think... no... I know I would have laughed my ass off. Catholic masses could use the occasional interruption to make it less boring. I certainly wouldn't have been outraged, faked or otherwise.
