ge force 2 + fps

Ok, here's the deal.
I got a new p3 800mhz(not oc'ed), ge force 2 gts 32mb ram, 128mb ram 133mhz. All this on an Asus CUSL2 motherboard, 815 chipset.
My problem is with the d*mn detonator drivers in quake2. In open gl mode I only get 60.0000 fps in all modes. from 320x240 up to 1600x1200. Now I know it ain't right since the first night after installing them i was getting 509fps in 640x480x32. After that I installed some sort of dvd player and it all went to hell. Since then, i uninstalled the dvd player, erased win98, fresh new copy of win2k installed, fresh new win2k detonator 6.18 drivers installed, and the bloody thing is still at 60.000 fps. In the game, the cl_maxfps setting is set to 200 so it can't be from there. Also, if you are going to suggest to disable verical synch in open gl mode, it just ****s up my game even more .

Hmm, install your old detonator drivers and record results and settings here.

You'll have to delete nvagp.inf from c:\windows\inf first though, and other nvidia INF from c:\windows\inf\other before installing an older detonator or else it will still use the new one.
