Gears of War for PC

I am praying to all of the gods that this games will come out on PC, it looks freakin amazing, it looks like Resident Evil meets Quake 4.

PC gamers rarely get games of this quality, and multilayer would rock, and besides, PC gamers are the only ones that can really appreciate the fantastic graphics with fancy pants video cards. YES?? yes.

Please Gears of War come to PC.

MS is the publisher. It'll be a while, but it will make it to the PC just like Halo did.

It'll probably make it don't I wouldn't be 100% positive on that. It'd make a great game as a "console exclusive" that tempts people to delve into the Xbox world. More than likely it'll be a Vista only port, but it might never make it. Guess the only way we can know is if we sit and wait.

And honestly by the time they do port it to PC GoW 2 will probably be coming out on Xbox...

If MS is willing to port Halo and Halo 2, their console sellers, then they will port this as well. Supposedly it is due for late 2007. I read it somewhere but do not have a link.

I read Q4 2007 somewhere as well. And, as with Halo 2, I can assure you it will only run on Vista.

Software sells systems. That's why I'm getting a 360 soon.

it's already been confirmed, IIRC. plus, GOW uses the unreal3 engine, so it's not like it's totally unfamiliar territory.

I don't doubt that it will be on vista by the end of 07.

The game is absolutely amazing. the multiplayer is so much fun, you have to just play it to understand.

I am very glad that I bought my 360 when i did

And the game looks ok, but aren't there a few threads already by 360 folks indicating how unimpressed they are with it?.........

And it will be loaded with bugs, poorly optimized for the superior PC hardware, and have been eclipsed several times by increasingly superior PC titles. The industry moves fast, delaying a title on one platform to milk it on another only ensures that other developers will surpass it.

Personally, I can't stand most any shooter on a console, let alone on a low rez TV. PC ftw. Consoles need to be reserved for sports action games, and Mario.
