I'd never heard of Rush before that Futurama episode; the next time I heard the name or was exposed to any of their music was Rock Band. Their music sucks.
The ignorance of this post speaks for itself.
Oh, I know. But it's still true.

Thanks. Nice song, was played to death on the radio, far from representative of their best work, though.

I had a roommate who loved them, and bought a ton more. It was horrible.

Agreed. Whenever I throw in Moving Pictures, I always skip straight to Red Barchetta. A much better song IMO (and one of my favs). I'm a huge Rush fan, but I have never understood the Tom Sawyer hype.

Strangely, Moving Pictures is the only Rush album I *dont* have ripped and in my music library.
Shame, because now I want to hear YYZ

I'd have to go with Red Barchetta followed by Limelight and Tom Sawyer. An amazing album, to be sure.Originally posted by: Commish

Vital signs and Red Barchetta are the two best songs on there.

How did it get so high?
I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy?
(I know him, and he does!)

thanks, my fact-checkin cuz

Geddy Lee has more talent in one of his fingers than any of this new crap we hear on the radio today. Back then, musicians had to possess TALENT which is something that is non-existing in today's recording artists.

He's also been on That Metal Show a couple of times. You would never know how he sings from the sound of his voice when he talks.
