Got mine today. Pretty sure it's TN based on the viewing angles, color distortion when changing viewing angles and '3ms' response time. I also just realized today that my Dell monitor here at work is a VA of some kind. Somehow I hadn't recognized before how well it does colors and viewing angles. Damnit! Now I'm jealous of my WORK monitor, though it is only a 19".
Overall I suppose I still wouldn't be able to complain since even for a TN panel this is a fairly hot deal. The monitor is in like-new cosmetic condition. One extra tiny problem... I have 1 suck pixel. It's stuck red only when the monitor displays very bright or light colors. When it is black or blue you don't even notice it. I thought this to be odd as I'd assumed stuck pixels always showed up as one color even when the the monitor is in standby?? I tried running the java display fix on it (forcing it to rapidly display many colors) and tried the pressure and tapping methods. So far no go..then again I'm at work. I might give these another try when I get home, but had to at least test it ahead of time. Le sigh, it was almost perfect.
Can you elaborate on the "java display fix" and the tapping fix?

"We only have 204 of the part # MT-GW-DYLM24D6-R available at the Geeks price of $169.99"
They still have quite a few left. Guess I'll have to order one and take a chance. I'm concerned about the packaging. I just received a motherboard from them and they shipped it in a bubble envelope instead of a box.

I just got my replacement monitor after RMA'ing one of my original purchases. Instead of the D6, I got a MT-NI-DYLM24E6. The monitor looks completely different, and supposedly has a 2MS response time. They actually sell this monitor as another product at geeks.com, which they say is OOS... so, is this a TN panel? I'm not super happy since it looks completely different...

BEWARE! Geeks is just the middleman. These refurbs are shipped out directly from Soyo. Mine arrived with two major screen defects. The major one was a wavy four-inch horizontal line across the lower right part of the screen. One-inch "drips" descended from this line.
My guess is that this unit was returned to a retailer, who, in turn, forwarded it to Soyo. They sold it as refurbished, but obviously nobody bothered to fire it up before repacking and selling it.. The defect is impossible to miss.
Soyo gave me an RMA and the LCD is back on its way to their base in Ontario, Calif AT MY COST VIA UPS of $28. It's no longer a bargain!

Weird... both of my returns went back to Geeks, and they paid postage.
One of the original monitors that I purchased also had a very large defect, impossible to miss... but they RMA'ed it with no problem.
