Well I jumped on this deal once I saw it. Got my confirmation e-mail and everything. I still have to sit in fear of getting an e-mail cancelling it since the coupon does say right on it that it doesn't work for video cards. My final cost was $355.98 with overnight shipping. Guess that means if it holds up I should get it Monday/Tuesday. I would hope Monday but it appears that the day they get something in stock to ship counts as the processing day, so will probably go out Monday...blah. Guess it doesn't matter if I keep you guys posted as this deal is now dead anyway...heh

hrmmm....checked my order status today and it's now listead as back ordered. Yet this morning when I went to the site it had the card listed as usually ships within 24 hours. The site now shows the card as back ordered as well. The guy I called didn't seem to know too much, he said it looks like I should get it and will probably ship on Monday. I just cheked the thread on this deal in the hard forums and someone there said when he called they said that people who ordered and are showing it as backordered is actually going to be shipped out at 6pm today. Already posted negative feedback about them on reseller ratings, but if they do ship it out I will edit that in a hurry.

I checked the status of the card on their website, it said usually ships in 24hrs. Then I logged in and checked my order and it said backordered. I called them and cancelled my order a few seconds later, it's not worth the $30 some odd bucks I would have to pay to get a GT elsewhere.

This company sucks. I hate when company's don't admit their mistakes and then drag out the process of cancelling your order. Good luck to all of you who ordered, maybe you'll get your cards.

just wanted to report back on this and say that Gamestop has HORRIBLE customer service. I sent an e-mail yesterday asking about why the backorder...still no response, not even an automated one. I am currently on hold tryig to talk to an actual person. Has been 45 min and COUNTING. This is a total joke. They are not worth dealing with EVER.

Cancelled.....

This is a BS move by a BS company. I'm currently on hold (big suprise) to issue a complaint. It's not cool that they took 11 days to cancel this. Especially after 4 calls to find out what's going on in which I was lied to on the first one (said it was shipping on Monday), one of being on hold forever because they don't say it's past hours if you call when they're closed, instead they say that all agents are helping others (really great since the contact us page DOESN'T have the hours listed, they have holiday hours which apparantly aren't in effect yet), then a call to someone who actually knew what was up, told me the 17th like everybody else has been hearing. I also got a reply 5 days after I sent an e-mail asking why it was backordered that was a cookie cutter back order e-mail saying that my GAME would be shipped as soon as they could locate more. If they were going to cancel this they should have done so LONG before now. I suggest never dealing with this company as they definately deserve the horrid reseller rating that I chose to ignore and give them a chance.....

EDIT: forgot to mention that they didn't even e-mail me about it being cancelled, I had to read about it on the Hard Forums then go to check my order status to see cancelled as well....

mine was just cancelled as well, ordered am on 11/1. I am just paying the $350+tax ($380 total) to get it from outpost.com, at least that should come, and the shipping is cheaper.

EDIT* I ordered the card from outpost but noticed the picture they use is of the older BFG 6800 GT, the one without the dual LED fans and copper heatsink, is this just an old picture or do they not have the newer cards? I know if I call them they won't have a clue...
