The Geforce 4, from what I hear, is rumored to have 6 pixel pipelines, along with some new features like mpeg2 decoding, etc. It's an expected move. The TNT2 was just a pumped up TNT , the Geforce 2 was just a pumped up Geforce256 with more pipelines and a faster T&L unit. It makes sense that after a major technological introduction like the programmable GPU of the Geforce 3, the next one would just be a more pumped up version of it. Generally these are the best (I love my Geforce 2). They are based on an already well-established technology which already have drivers optimized for it, but merely bring a significant speed increase.
