gentlemen.
so i just received my geforce gtx 470.
i plugged it in, then booted. i installed the drivers, rebooted and it worked for about 10 minutes before the computer shut down.
and now, i can't start my computer if the card is plugged.
more precisely, it does not start only when the rightmost 6-pin is plugged (there are two 6-pin on the card).
if i plug none of them, the computer starts, but obviously the display does not work, same thing if i only plug the 6-pin on the left.
when i replug my geforce 260, everything works just fine with the two 6-pin, so it must be the card.
anything i can do other than send it the hell back?
if it's the only way, do you recommend any other card that could be a good upgrade from my geforce 260? i know about nvidia, but don't know anything about radeons cards.
thanks
so yeah, got a geforce gtx 460 not working, windows 7, 4 gb of ram, 600W psu.
