yo guys...
i just found this coincidentally....
I built a new compie for my brother and put a geforce fx 5600 in it.
i myself just upgraded my geforce 4ti 4200 to geforce fx 5900.
then as usual i played several 3d demos just to show off.
When i played wolfman/werewolf nvidia demo, which smoothly on my geforce4ti even with 2xFSAA and 4xAF, all of the geforce fx play it like a slideshow, EVEN WITH FSAA AND AA TURN OFF. this really comes to my surprise.
wowww!!!!
btw, this only occur in the wolfman demo. other g4ti demo runs just fine on the fx series.
here is the hardware in use:
Geforce 4Ti 128MB core/mem 250/500
Geforce FX 5600 128MB core/mem 325/550
Geforce FX 5900 256MB core/mem 400/850
Driver used: 52.16 and 53.03 (Two last official release)
WinXP SP1, DX9.0b, ASUS A7N8x Deluxe Rev. 2, Barton 2800 (2.08 Ghz, 166Mhz fsb), 1.5GB Kingmax DDR333 RAM (CAS3), SB Audigy.
As an additional information, the demo is an openGL based demo, and can be downloaded from:
