Well, Ati promises to not cheat anymore but this is atleast the 2nd time they have cheated, last time it was the cheating on quake. Get it straight, both companies cheat.
Sorry about my other post saying it might of been an ok deal. I just found out that the msrp is $400 so this is not a good deal. Plus after that mistake between the picture and the text I would preorder this card from somewhere else like bestbuy and then you could probably get your card faster by driving to the nearest BB.

Ok, this isnt a debate on who cheated on what, when how and/or why. Please take those comments to the other 438 billion threads on forums across the net.
That being said, this would be a great deal, save the picture of the 5800 on the ad. kind of makes you wonder
even ignoring the sanfu with the add, the card says 128mb, whihc is the $399 MSRP card. You may be thinking of the 256mb card which has an MSRP of $499.

From Warp2Search today...
Name: Radeon 9900PRO / GPU Core: R360
Clock Speed: 420Mhz (Bit of guess work there though it would seem reasonable)
Man. Process: 0.15µ (TSMC will have massively matured this by now - better high clock speed yields)
Pixel Fillrate: 3360MPixels/s

Too bad there IS no R360 core. The next ATI core is going to be the R400, unless you're telling me that they have a core that's not on the roadmap and that nobody has really heard of.
