hello, i just got a geforce fx 5900 w/256 VRAM. i found some problem with the card when the core clock is running at default speed. after a few second running 3d, the screen just freeze. when you press esc key like crazy, sometimes u can exit 3d mode, but sometimes it'll just bsod. the default speed is core/mem 400/850
the strange thing is , if i overclock / underclock the card, the problem just go away. i tried 390/850 and 420/850 with no problem whatsoever. to ensure myself that the card runs at the mentioned speed when overclocked, i run 3dmark 2000, 2001se, and 2003 at both speed and found that with 420 i got higher speed than 390. this is to ensure that the card didn underclock itself when overclocked via driver.
anybody find similar problem? coz here in indonesia i contacted the technical support and they confirm that they've found similar case before as well (so i'm not the only one). the card is pixelview/prolink. the problem tested with both 52.16 and 53.03 detonator driver.
