Geforce2 GTS to Ultra

i am going to be making this swap very soon, what I need to know is what exactly needs to be done when replacing the card. In "my computer" do I still need to remove hardware of the video card, and then remove it completely from the computer, or since they use the same drivers can I just turn my computer off and physically switch the cards. Is it that simple or do I need to go through the same process as when I removed my voodoo3 for the Geforce2 GTS??? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

You can just replace the hardware. That's how I did it when I went from my PCI TNT to AGP MX, so I'm sure the GTS to Ultra would be just as easy if not more so.

Just remove the old card and pop in the new one. They use the same drivers (as long as your using the reference NVidia drivers not manufacturer specific) so you won't have to change anything.

Make sure you go to add/remove programs first and remove the drivers.
