I was shopping around for 2gigs and stumbled on this: Linky

Reviews seem to be good and anything from Corsair that has the same timings is like double $$.

Warm?! - Viewers leave a comment - does this RAM suck? Not a good deal? No one using DDR2? No one looking for 2gigs?

Yes, those are fairly aggressive timings for DDR2, especially with 1 GB sticks.

I tried to do a good descriptive job on the Header thingy, but no one has really bumped this as even warm.

I'll tell ya though, I still can't find anything better. Feel free to chime-in if you see a better deal or know that this RAM isn't worth 2 bills.

Right now only some Intel chipsets support DDR2 and zero AMD chipsets. Demand for DDR2 will pick up next spring after AMD starts shipping their M2 socket CPUs with onboard DDR2 controllers. I suspect when that happens, you'll see DDR2 prices jump a bit.

Right, I suppose that's the case. Here's what this ram is going into for me:

  Pentium M 780
  2Gb GeIL Ultra DDR2
  74Gb Raptor
  BenQ DW1640
  Video card (??) - waiting for something special that's single-slot
  Special-wecial Nexus 92 Silent Fan

You should clarify in the header that it is 2x1gb.
As for the price.... decent for the timing.
It would be a perfect fit for everyone who got in on the Intel Retail deal.

It clearly says "Dual Channel Kit" in the header.

In the review linked up top, they state they had them running "rock solidly" at 250Mhz (667).

DDR 667 is 333 MHz, not 250.

I thought that seemed a little funny

Not sure why they deem it worth noting that it was rock solid at 250Mhz when it's rated for 266Mhz. Oh well. Hopefully I'll have it soon and will let you know how it runs at 333
