General Hardware Setup

Ok, I think Ive got all my bios settings adjusted for max performance and compatibility. Ive got the MSI Nforce 3 250GB motherboard, Ive got my memory timings pretty tight along with a decent 7% overclock.

Now, with a 256mb X800 pro what do I want my "AGP Aperature" settings set at? I cannot figure that one out at all, in fact I dont even know what it does. Just got Doom 3 and I want this baby running as fast as the hardware will alow it. Thanks!

I also wanted to ask if anyone out there is getting 78-81 degrees C on their X800 pros with stock settings?

I can't find the link but I saw a rather detailed explanation of why you do not need to set your AGP aperature size any greater than 1/2 of the ram on your card. Hence a 256MB card would yield a 128MB aperature size.
