that's because you're a pussy
(am I doing it right?)
I made the mistake of challenging a guy who had 60 pounds and 4 inches on me. I let my emotions get the best of me and left some good marks, but ultimately it didn't go well even though I went at him like a honey badger. I even attacked first. The size difference mattered.
what? what are you babbling on about?
it's not making much sense..
lol comparing boot camp to the real world.
As I said i asked that question before it came out that TM told his GF he was going to double back and get him. so yeah did you miss that part?
I wouldn't think that you were trolling. The facts presented at trial are that Trayvon was stalking Zimmerman immediately prior to the altercation, not the other way around. Trayvon's "snack" was 2 out of 3 ingredients for making "lean" - a drink that was used to get high.Zimmerman stalking Trayvon is an absolute fact. Trayvon wanted nothing to do with anyone before Zimmerman started stalking him for no reason. This is fact. Trayvon wasn't out looking for a fight, he was getting a snack.
I forgot about the first 911 call - roughly a minute between the first punch & the gunshot. Nearly a minute of someone crying out for help. There were two narratives: Zimmerman was calling out for help because he was getting the crap beat out of him, or Trayvon was calling out for help, while he was pummeling Zimmerman. There are zero facts to support that Trayvon was ever on the bottom - all the physical facts indicate he was on top the entire time. Thanks, Dr Pizza, and let's not forget, the prosecution had virtually unlimited resources, and a hell of a lot of pressure to get a conviction, and failed.
I've read that the store had just refused to sell him that third ingredient (cough syrup) because he was unable to show ID proof that he was 18 years old. In a matter of days, he would have been 18 and would have been able to buy the codein cough syrup.... Trayvon's "snack" was 2 out of 3 ingredients for making "lean" - a drink that was used to get high.
snip wall of text
Worked out better than Trayvon. And look how well it has worked out for our hero do-gooder. He is truly a shining example of what we all should strive for in our lives... for society.
Man, I wish he was my neighbor.
Allow me to summarize for some of you who seem to have missed a lot of facts from the case.
Zimmerman was a neighborhood watch person. He had made dozens of calls to the police in the past about suspicious behaviors in the neighborhood, including people peering into the windows of unoccupied houses.
In a recent incident (prior to the Trayvon incident), he had reported suspicious behavior, a laptop turned up missing, and the laptop was found in the backpack of one of the people Zimmerman had identified.
In all of the calls about suspicious individuals, not once did Zimmerman describe the race until AFTER he was specifically asked; this includes Trayvon. None of the other calls involved Zimmerman confronting the suspicious individuals.
In other words, Zimmerman had a pretty good track record as a neighborhood watchman. Zero confrontations, zero violence. There had been a lot of break-ins, robberies, and attempted break-ins in recent times. There had been a loose pit-bull in the Twin Lakes area, and Zimmerman had been advised by a County Animal Services officer to carry a gun and not rely on pepper spray.
Zimmerman spotted Trayvon, and thought Trayvon's behavior was suspicious. As far as Trayvon's character goes, it has been shown that Trayvon has had stolen property in his possession several times in the past. Trayvon had recently purchased skittles and an Arizone drink - Trayvon had previously posted on social media about making "lean" - those two ingredients mixed with cough syrup to get high. Zimmerman called in the suspicious behavior to the non-emergency number, and told dispatch what Trayvon was doing.
Trayvon apparently realized Zimmerman was watching him, made eye contact with Zimmerman, then left the area running.
Dispatch asked Zimmerman if he saw where he went - at THAT point, Zimmerman got out of the vehicle to look for Trayvon so he could report where he went.. When Dispatch told Zimmerman that he didn't have to follow Trayvon, he broke off attempting to find him, as evidenced by his breathing on the phone, and his acknowledgement: "We don't need you to do that." "OK." He reported that (Trayvon) had gotten away. He also discussed with dispatch where the officers who were on their way should go, and was planning on meeting with the officers. The media has been widely criticized for portraying it as Zimmerman chasing after Trayvon after being told he didn't need to - that narrative was absolutely false.
Meanwhile, Trayvon got home - safe and sound. Again, Trayvon got home. He talked to his (girlfriend? I'm not 100% sure of the relationship) on his cell phone. He told her he was going to find the "creepy ass cracker" - this statement was made by a witness FOR the Martin family.
Trayvon left his home to find Zimmerman. - Again, witness for the prosecution stated this. Also, for Trayvon's character, he had a history of fighting people and "making them bleed," for his own amusement.
Zimmerman claims that Trayvon confronted him and struck him in the face first, knocking him down, then got on top of him and had hit his head against the ground several times. After the shooting, pictures taken of Zimmerman show injuries consistent with this - cuts to the back of the head, a large lump forming on his head, and a bloody face. During questioning by the police, a type of lie detector was used and Zimmerman passed while describing this.
The prosecution claims, based on statements made by the girl who had been on the phone with Trayvon, that she heard Trayvon during the altercation and that Travon had said during the altercation that Zimmerman was on top. During the autopsy of Trayvon, he had ZERO injuries, other than the gunshot wound, and a mark on his hand consistent with an injury that could be caused by hitting Zimmerman. The physical evidence showed grass on the back of Zimmerman's clothing, consistent with him being on his back. There was zero physical evidence of Trayvon having been on his back, pinned under someone.
Immediately after the police arrived, Zimmerman was overheard saying that he had been calling for help and no one came. There are several witnesses who heard calls for help, though due to the darkness, many of the witnesses are uncertain of who called for help. One describes the person on the bottom as being hit MMA style. Again, Trayvon had no injuries consistent with this. In the aftermath, listening to recordings of the calls for help, families of both Zimmerman and of Trayvon both claim it was their family member calling for help.
EVERY freaking piece of physical evidence corroborates Zimmerman's version of events. Witnesses corroborate his version of events. A couple witnesses indicated that the guy on top was hitting the guy on the bottom in the face - though some of the witnesses thought it was Zimmerman on top. Given the darkness, and absolute lack of any injuries to Trayvon's face, zero grass/debris on Trayvon's back, etc., it has been fairly well established that they were mistaken about who was on top. The primary witness indicating that Zimmerman was on top said so based on what she heard on the phone - she was also demonstrated to by lying under oath at other points in the trial.
If you've read all of this, and think Zimmerman murdered Trayvon, and Trayvon was just an innocent little kid, then please explain your reasoning.

Except trayvon was bashing zim's head into concrete and you could hear zim crying for help on the 911 call.
Except Trayvon was a LARGE person. He wasn't the size of a little teenager. I'm 35 and he was wayyyy bigger than I am. If you have some large dude you don't know bashing your head into concrete, it's a far cry from teenagers fighting after school.
Yea, he's bigger than I am, also much more athletic. So if I get confronted in the dark by someone his size, I'm not going to stick around to find out who the better boxer is.
It's not about being a wussy, it's about being smart enough to survive.
Something Trayvon didn't do.
yeah a 5'11 160 lb teen is larger then me. sure i would run.
for a in shape kid that's a decent size.
yeah size does. though i will say one of the best fighters i knew was 5'7 125lbs. The guy was a freak of nature. even for a wrestler he was crazy strong.
I seen him take out a 220lb linebacker in highschool. lifted the fucker up and then just pounded on him. Also him kicking guys ass's who were larger then him wasn't a freak thing. he would do it often (he loved to fight).
I was just glad he was a friend of mine heh
Worked out better than Trayvon.
