NO not ever
What about if a group of women wanted to have an all-female group? Would that be acceptable
A all female group? Do you have any comprehension of the difference between a plublic school and just a group?
Why are you defending raceism? A neo nazi skinhead maybe? I notice that you speak "you all"

Yes, thank you. This is what I was referring to.
My high school also had "African American only" clubs. They were by blacks, for blacks only.
I did not think this was right. To me it seems that such clubs are racist, just as an "all white" club would be. To me, excluding certain people due to their skin color is not acceptable.

Where did you go to school? We had an "African American" club at my HS, but it focused on black history and you could join up even if you weren't black (there were some asians and whites in there).

LOL. And just think of all the stuff many here say when I and few others still talk about the racism and still the need for programs like AA. Just think here it is 2003 and they had their first integrated prom last year. Last YEAR.

kinda messed up how racism is a one way street in America isnt it?
I drove by an NAACP office today, thought it was kinda lame that theres a "National Association for the Advancement of Colored Peoples" umm, why not an Association for the Advancement of ALL peoples? especially when they claim to be so "diverse"

What amazes me is that these morons don't even realize how wrong it is. They say "Oh I'm going to both". Fvcking amazing. And you southerners wonder why everyone hates you. Maybe you should get your rednecks in line.

Did you also have a European American club that focused on white history?

What amazes me is that you see no problem with labeling people nor making stereotypes about southerners. Pot meet kettle.

This is just embarassing. One more thing for the rest of the country to point at Georgia and say "See? They are a bunch of inbred racist rednecks!"
It was an assumption based on a Brainless question on your part. The only thing limp wristed in this thread is your attempt to make this into a Liberal vs Conservative issue. Niether view is based on Racism though there are racist in both camps.Originally posted by: Marshallj

Oh man, what a limp wristed hippy....
You took my question and twisted it all around to suit your skewed thoughts.
First of all, if you want to offend me, at least spell the insults correctly. What's "raceism"???? And WTF is a "plublic school"??? No, I guess I DO NOT have any comprehension of what a "plublic school" is.
And no, I do not support what they're doing. Nowhere in my post did I even hint that I think it's right. You just ASSumed that I did, and you ASSumed incorrectly.

If you think Southern GA is indicative of a majority of people's feelings, you are lost. The only place where racism still exists is in uneducated or bigoted people. After all, Classy you tend to threaten people if they don't agree with you.

On the contrary small "mill". Most of you guys talk down on minorities here, except Asians. I have never seen a thread ever that gave minorities some credit here. They are always negative. And generally possess info from people that
A. Never even talk to a black person
B. Never even talk to a minority
C. Second hand knowledge that they heard from their cousin's, brother's, mother's, uncle.
D. How can a group of people talk about another group of people without bias objectively when they only talk to people who look and believe like them.
Case in point I hear all the bs bad stuff about AA but never ever hear any of the good. Hmmmmm.
