Gerber knife and multitool - 19$ - amazon

OK, this is definitely not as good as yesterday's post about the Leathermans (if you can afford it, buy those), but Jeff has posted another multitool deal, packaged with a knife--also has an interesting write-up about carrying knives. Again, this multitool is non-magnetic, so it's good for quick computer jobs. Of course, you won't be able to replace as much as your tool set as with the Leatherman Charge.

$19.00 for a knife and key-chain multitool, not bad if the price of the h502/h503 or Charge was too much for you.

If you buy this... buy it for the knife and not the Clutch. The quality of the Clutch is pretty low. It's been sitting in my desk drawer since I bought this a few months ago. I like the knife though... it's fine for everyday use.

Right on!
My old Gerber hunting knife came with the most incredible edge from the factory.
I had been used to sharpening my own (Bucks, Camillus & kitchen) knives for years and only thought I could produce an edge.
The Gerber was so sharp, it was scary and it keeps an edge.

its ok, i don't really like the plastic. i have a paraframe gerber though, and it works great. esp with the pocket clip which works very well.
