i too thought it was a nazi salute when he did it. i even pointed it out to my coworker cause I thought it looked like one too.

but he could have been doing one of those things wehre you put your fist to your heart and then point to the sky, kind of like what someone else pointed that you see many rappers or athletes doing when they make a good play and are thanking god.

If there is video proof of a German giving the Nazi salute...and it appears that was his intention...then the Germans themselves will hang him out to dry.

There is no country on this planet more aware of its past and its wrongdoings. With this WM, Germany is trying to turn a new page, and the public and press will not stand for someone who tries to keep life in the previous chapter.

I wanted Germany to lose but turning a soccer thread into a thread about Germans and Nazi Salutes is just overkill. After which goal was this? I watched until the defining goal and then just went back to work.
