that was an issue-- they send it to the address you used to sign up with, which isn't my paypal ID. i've mailed them asking to mail my real paypal address-- there's no way i can see to change that on their site.

If they don't change it to your paypal address, can't you still associate multiple e-mail addresses with 1 paypal account, so you can retrieve your $10?

Last service I used was esnipe.com, but they charge min 25 cents or 1% up to max of $10.

I liked the idea of setting my max bid in advance, without showing that I was even bidding on an item, and my bid was always placed about 5 seconds prior to close. When other bidders see people bidding, they very often increase their own bids, and some people panic in the last moments of an auction and bid more than they really want to. Sniping avoids that.

I might try this new service, but I sure don't want to be called on MOST auctions, maybe if I was bidding for a kidney etc.

When you log into your Unwired Buyer account, it shows the auctions you've got running, and you can put check marks by the ones you want to receive calls for, and leave blank the ones you don't.

Has anybody got a referral $5 payment yet? I referred someone, they used the service, got their $10, but there seemed to be some glitch with the e-mail Unwired Buyer sent me for my $5 referral payment. It said something like "click link in this e-mail," but there was no link. I e-mailed customer service, and the guy said he'd straighten it out tomorrow, but I am wondering if anybody else has been successful in getting the $5.

I signed up last night using my home phone #. They called me. I bid and won on a $2 camcorder A/V cable. As of now, I still haven't received my $10. Hopefully I'll get it sometime today.

I also used my home number and received $10.

Around 3pm I used the service and immediately received a confirmation of having used it. Around 7-8pm that same day I received the paypal credit. I referred 2 friends to the service (both with 10+ ratings and 1year+ account) but they haven't received an email at all after using the service last night?? Not sure whats going on for them.

Edit: Oh crap! I just found this on their website.

When the auction is over, please wait for a confirmation notice, before you hang up the phone. Always check email for official confirmation of bids, and auction status from eBay.


Maybe that's why I got nothing.

Something's up.......I signed up, been with EBay since '98, over 800 Posi feedback, used the service last night around 9 and actually won the auction.......no confirmation, no money. I also referred 5 people, 3 have already used it either last night yet or this morning, all have 100+ feedback and members of EBay for years.....no confirmation, no $10 and now their after me about what's up...........
