They must be having some trouble. They messed up in the e-mail they sent me yesterday supposedly for my $5 referral money. It said "click this link" but there was no link. They wrote me back immediately and said they'd fix it today, which they haven't. I think they must be getting inundated. They seem legit though, I bet those of you who haven't gotten your $10 will get it before too long.

Well, I got a referral link right away today that had correct info on it so it seems to be working better. But my referralee did not receive a confirmation link yet. It's only been a few minutes so we'll see...

I'll never use PayPal again since they ripped me for almost $900 a year ago.

Sold someone something on Ebay, and they paid with a CC. Took delivery then cancled payment. PayPal ignored my delivery confirmation and took the money out anyway.

Bunch of theives IMO.

They are all about the buyers, no seller protection that actually works.

I lost $1200. Buyer paid with a stolen Paypal account. Paypal takes the $1200 out of my account and just says SORRY, that money was stolen! Shouldn't the idiot girl who gave out her Paypal password and let the thief use her account be out the money?!

Good news. Got a reply from them and got my confirmation for paypal payment. They must just have been swamped the past few days.

And always withdraw money out from your PP account asap. So they won't be able to take money out of your account.

Their buyer protection is worthless as well. I tried using it to retrieve some money after the seller never shipped and wouldn't respond. Anyway, their protection didn't work so I had to do a chargeback (luckily I payed with CC).

I received my email as well about 24 hours after I bid and about an hour later my $10. The 3 freinds have also received theirs now so their caught up on the day before but the other 2 have bid now and not received anything as of yet and I've not received any refferal money.........

for all those who are having problems getting the $10...or $5 referral bonus...go on their website, login..then click tech support...fill out the form and tell them you never received your sign on bonus. I got mine in 1 day by doing this....

3 minutes before the auction ends, you will get a phone call from a computer voice system. from there, you have to place a bid with your phone, but you don't have to win to get the $10, just place a bid.
