Well the i4000 I initially ordered is going back and here's what I got to replace it:

That price is before the rebate, so that should bring it down to around $1565. Now get this. After paying $100 extra for the DVD-ROM this time, getting a PIII over the Celeron that was in my i4000, getting the 32 meg video card option, adding the internal V.90 + 10/100, and having to pay for shipping this time as well, my new order still only comes out to about $250 more than my i4000 would have been after adding the 3 year warranty that the i8000 comes standard with. After realizing this there was just no way I could justify not spending the extra $250 here, especially now that my rebate from my first order seems to be in question. And for those of you with i4000's kicking yourselves for not going with the internal V.90 + 10/100 option for $50, IT WASN'T THERE when a lot of us jumped on this initially, myself included. They must have added it in the last couple of days. And that's yet another reason I have become sort of disgruntled over my first order.
