Staples CSR told me they called thenerds.net and that they don't carry a U.S. Warranty on this item. So if it needed service it would have to be mailed outside the country. This invalidates Staples pricematch.

Last year you could submit rebates for as many monitors as you wanted. Didn't read it this year, but you might want to check it. Was also even sweeter last year, they paid me $25 to buy each monitor

No, last year OM had lots of monitors on clearance. Compaq 15" for $75, 17" for $100, no coupons. Then there was a $100 Compaq rebate, which I read carefully and called to verify. They sent me all the rebates I applied for and I didn't even have a UPC for one of them! Plus I got an IBM monitor I found up in a rack at one store for like $13, no rebates needed.

The monitors (the previous generation) had a decent picture and OSD but only flicker-free at 800x600. I think the newer model is similar. Definately not worth $299, or even $199...but if the rebate is valid it is a good deal.

Pretty simple.. go into your local staples, pick up a monitor and then pricematch it to the website. you can pring out the website and bring it with you, or just write down the address. give them the coupon code, which can be found on one of many sites, and then print out the rebate and send it in. Not too hard

Those that jumped on this deal, "How do you get the rebate submittion to work?" When I try submitting the rebate online (Step 2 of 3), I got a "HTTP 500 error" and show "This page cannot e displayed."
Please let me know quick. If the rebate don't work, I need to return it and get the 17" Envision deal before they run OOS.
